Once again, the 8th edition of the wheelchair rugby tournament at the weekend in Contern was a great experience for young and old. In total, five teams with about 40 wheelchair athletes from the Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg, duelled over two days and brought their best performance on the field. Many wheels had to be changed, because some players drove too rough into each other.
In the end, the Agivia Sharks came out on top and were crowned this year’s winners.
It was also a great pleasure for us to be part of the tournament again and we would like to thank everyone who contributed with their support and volunteering to make this tournament a great success once again.
We are already looking forward to next year and the 9th edition!
