History
The foundation “Wonschstär”, which has been founded in 2014, is my dream. Its core message is quite simple: love, compassion and responsibility.
Everything has a meaning in life and everybody we meet throughout our life has a message to give us. Everyday we meet people who are in need of our help and support. Thus, a few years ago I crossed paths with Tom, who at the young age of 21 had suffered a terrible stroke of fate. His story left a mark.
I surely wasn’t able to fulfill his greatest desire, to get out of his wheelchair and back on his feet again, yet, through the foundation, I hoped to show him compassion and let him know that despite the situation he was in, his life still had a purpose and he still had a place. In order to grow we need both the good and the bad experiences, it’s the only way to reach our destination.
As such, Tom has become our ambassador, someone who can serve as an example for other people and show them that life is always worth fighting for.
No matter the obstacles in life, one should never lose faith. If we meet our fate with a strong will and a little hope, there is always possibility for success. If we try hard enough, a small light will eventually pierce through the darkness; a light that leads the way and gives us the motivation to keep on going – just like a star in the night sky.
It is exactly this star, this shimmer of hope that I wish to bring to as many people as possible with this foundation. To give them joy, hope and a lot of compassion.

Interview
Amsal gave an interview in the cadre of the Handicap 2023 campaign of the Ministry of Labor about his disability, his search for a job and his everyday working life with us at the Foundation.
Our president Viviane Soanni also had her say in another interview and once again underlined how important it is to give people with disabilities a job and show them a perspective in the world of work.
