During the many years that our Wish Foundation has been in existence, we have been particularly touched by the fate of little Rafael. A few years after his birth, he was diagnosed with a very rare genetic disease called Progeria. This disease causes his body to age very quickly and drastically reduces his life expectancy.
After a request from his mother a few weeks ago, we sent Rafael together with his parents and siblings to Disneyland for a few days. There, between Mini Mouse, Mickey Mouse and the numerous great activities, he could recover a little from his not always easy everyday life and forget his illness for a few moments.
We are happy that the whole family was able to have a great time at Disneyland Paris and we would like to share with them a big thank you to everyone who helped us make this wish come true.
