Melvyn was born twelve years ago with a very rare disease, which brings with it a whole series of severe limitations, such as a motor development disorder. This obstacle is a relatively big and permanent challenge for Melvyn as well as his family in everyday life.
We were contacted by Melvyn’s mother because she has set a big goal together with her son – Melvyn should learn to swim. We find this idea remarkable and are happy to support Melvyn in his mission. So we accompanied him during his first swimming lessons in the indoor swimming pool in Hosingen. After only a short time Melvin is making remarkable progress and has already mastered a few lengths in the pool. Hopefully there will be more to come.
