Two weeks ago, the sports hall in Contern was buzzing with activity as the wheelchair rugby tournament was back on the agenda.
Six teams, packed with motivated athletes, competed throughout the weekend. The wheelchairs often bumped into each other during the weekend and sometimes one or two of them even tipped over in their wheelchairs, but the teams kept on fighting. Every single one of them gave each other nothing over the two days and tried to take the crown at the end.
We at the Wonschstär Foundation are very proud to support this tournament and are already looking forward to next year when the tournament celebrates its tenth edition.
